ActionAid is one of the UK’s largest international development charities, helping poor children, families and communities in over 35 of the world’s poorest countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean
Sponsoring a child with Action Aid helps a child’s whole community by providing access to safe, clean water, healthcare, education and an escape from a life of hardship and disease
Sponsors will see how their money is working through regular updates from local fieldworker's and personal messages from the child they sponsor.

Can I reclaim Gift Aid?
yes
Can I choose Age / gender / Nationality of the child?
Action Aid Uses the donation to support the child and community in greatest need of your support

50p a day buys food for life
With just 50p a day, we can help poor families grow more food. With tools, seeds and livestock, they can put a life of hunger behind them.
50p a day teaches a child to read and write
50p a day could ensure that a poor child goes to school. A whole community could work together to build a school, which will offer generations of children the education that could change their life.
50p a day buys clean, safe water
Your gift could help a poor community to build a water system. You’ll ensure children don’t have to risk illness and death with every drop they drink.
